The majority of Laie now has a new sewer collection system. Operations of the system and treatment plant have been turned over to the City and County of Honolulu. Click on the LWRF Transfer To The City link above for more information about the transfer.
Any Laie resident on the new sewer system who is experiencing problems with the low-pressure pump should call the toll-free number — 808-768-7272 — for assistance. Homeowners are responsible for any plumbing problems before the wastewater enters the pump.
