May 3, 2013 - Hawaii Reserves announced today that Laie Ventures LLC has been selected as the developer to redevelop the Laie Hotel. Construction of the new hotel, scaled back to three stories and 144 rooms for the first phase, is expected to begin later this year. For more information, please go to Envision Laie.

January 8, 2013 - Hawaii Reserves announced today that the Laie Chevron will remain open for as long as possible. Also announced was a cost sharing arrangement between the federal and city government, and HRI, to complete a flood control study for Wailele Stream. December 6, 2012 - The Laie Community Association, Hawaii Reserves, Inc., BYU-Hawaii and the Polynesian Cultural Center issued a preparedness reminder letter to Laie residents regarding the community's drainage system.
