We are pleased to make our campgrounds available, Monday after 2 p.m. through Saturday (no Sunday camping). Patrons are required to obtain a free permit - please call HRI at 293-9201 for more information. In order to ensure that reservations are conducted in a fair and organized manner, please note the following policy guidelines.
Camp Reservations Policy:
Reservations made ONLY BY PHONE at 9:00 a.m. on the first business day of the month, six (6) months prior to camping date: For example: All reservations for the month of June 2012 will be taken by phone starting on January 2, 2012 at 9:00am. The reservations phone number is: 293-6403 – you need to talk to a live person, please do not leave a message to call back or send an e-mail message. No walk-up reservations taken. One reservation per call only. To remain valid, reservations must be confirmed by filling out and signing a camping application permit no later than 5 days after the initial reservation.
Camping application is provided for informational purposes only (and hiking / access agreement is a separate permit) - to minimize scheduling conflicts we ask that it be filled out with an HRI employee at our office.
