Whiting, president of the Honolulu-based real estate investment company Waterhouse, Inc., earned his bachelor's degree in Japanese from BYU-Provo and his law degree from McGeorge School of Law, University of the Pacific. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, he has lived in Hawaii since 1990. Whiting serves as a director on several boards including the Executive Board of the Aloha Council of the Boy Scouts of America.
