James is the owner of James & Associates of Wailuku and Lahaina, Maui. Originally from Farmington, New Mexico, he earned a BYU accounting degree, worked several years for Peat, Marwick Mitchell before forming a CPA partnership in New Mexico and then purchased his Maui practice in 1990. He is also involved in community activities.
