Chairman
Hoag is one of Hawaii's most prominent business leaders and has over 35 years of experience in island banking industry, retiring as President of First Hawaiian Bank in 1995. He continues to serve on the board of directors for First Hawaiian Bank and BancWest Corp. Hoag was a helicopter pilot in the Marine Corps, which brought him to Hawaii 48 years ago. He earned bachelor's and master's degrees in business and is a graduate of the Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington. Hoag served on the Board of Regents for the University of Hawaii and as Chair of the Chamber of Commerce of Hawaii. He currently sits on the board of directors of Castle Medical Center and numerous other community-based organizations.
